Om Happy Hum sprouted from our adoration for timeless Vedic stories, philosophies and sciences; the revered sages, saints, and teachers who paved the way before us, as well as the boundless curiosity that children spark! Our journey began with a small yet deep desire to share these profound treasures beyond the borders of India, and encourage a culture of reading and learning these timeless texts and stories.

Rooted in Mumbai, India, the hearts behind Om Happy Hum now beat in Austin, Texas, alongside our delightful (not-so!) little one. Our book collection is thoughtfully curated from our homeland, while our bookmarks, stickers, and Japa books are lovingly crafted in the US and printed with utmost care in India. A big shoutout to one of our founder's mom— for her superhero logistics skills to keep the wheels turning. Moms truly make the world go round! So do dads, grandparents, uncles, aunties, and siblings!

FAQ

When will I get my order?

We process orders from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, and they usually ship within 2 to 5 business days, unless stated otherwise. If you place an order after 12 pm CST on Friday, it will be shipped out the following week. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping notification with the tracking number.

While shipping times may vary, with standard shipping, orders delivered within the continental US typically arrive in 5 to 8 business days after being shipped. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico please allow 2-4 weeks. If you opt for expedited shipping via UPS or USPS, you can expect delivery within 3 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). Shipping Carriers and Charges

We use USPS, UPS, and FedEx carriers to deliver our orders.​

USA domestic shipping is a calculated on the weight of your order.

Free USA shipping applies to $80 USD before tax, and select items, depending on the weight of your order.

Once an item leaves us and is shipped we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. ​

I live in Austin, Is order pick-up an option?

Yes! Please choose pick-up as an option when checking out your goodies. Once your order is ready, you will receive a ready-to-pick email with the needed details.

How do Returns and Refunds for damages work?

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not. You can return a product for up to 14 days from the date you purchased it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt. ​

When you’re ready to return or exchange, email us at omhappyhum@gmail.com with:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • Reason for the return​

Customers are responsible for return shipping; pre-paid labels are not provided. We recommend tracking on all returns. Om Happy Hum is not responsible for returns lost in the mail; customers will not receive refunds for lost returns.​

Once your item is received and inspected, your claim will be processed and a refund or replacement will be issued within 7 - 14 business days.​

Shipping will be refunded ONLY if the products being returned meet the following criteria:

  • product is defective 
  • product does not match the product description 
  • we have made an error in shipment by either shipping incomplete order or wrong product, and/or
  • we have been responsible, along with our shipping service, in an unreasonably long delay in delivery (typically considered to be 10 business days from the date of order) of the ordered product.​

Can I change my shipping address and/or edit my order?

Although we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to change your shipping address, please email us at omhappyhum@gmail.com with your order number and correct shipping/billing address, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Om Happy Hum is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by the following scenarios:

  • Customer providing the wrong shipping address
  • Customer providing incorrect contact information (phone/email), which prevents customs from being able to clear packages
  • Failure to pick up package from carrier location after one or two logged delivery attempts by carrier

Oh no! Loved so much, its gone! We will make sure its available soon - you could drop us an email about your enquiry, we will notify you as soon as it's available!

If there's a particular spiritual book I'm interested in but it's not listed here, would Om Happy Hum order it for me?

We'll do our best to seek help from our publishers/wholesalers to order the book for you in our next order to them. Share those details on omhappyhum@gmail.com
